Eggplants are one of the only vegetables that require so much pesticide. Only lately in today's years,people realised that pesticides are harmful, especially when it comes to fertility. Studies have shown that fertility dropped in women in high numbers due to the pesticides found on vegetables and eggplant ranked on number 2 most harmful.

Nowadays,many try to head for organically grown with pesticides that do not harm. If the prices increased it would be tragic,as the vegetables would be grown with much cheaper substitutes,and many couples could not conceive in long times or ever due to the pesticides along with other factors.
