0) Read the first two exchanges. What do the friends decide to do at the
weekend? Listen and read to find out.
Zara: Hey, Phylis. Are you free this weekend?
Phylis: I think so. Why?
Zara: We could go on a day trip somewhere.
Phylis: That sounds good. Where do you want to go?
Zara; How about Bath? It's got lots of museums and art galleries
Phylis: Mmm, Bath doesn't sound very exciting. How about going
shopping in London? We always have a great time there
Zara: That's true, but London is always so busy and noisy. I'd prefer
somewhere more relaxing.
Phylis: Why don't we go on a two-day trip? We can have one day
for shopping in London and one day in Bath to relax.
Zara: Now that's a brilliant idea!

Phylis: Mmm, Bath nu sună prea interesant. Ce zici de mers
cumpărături în Londra? Ne simțim mereu bine acolo
Zara: Este adevărat, dar Londra este întotdeauna atât de ocupată și de zgomotoasă. As prefera
undeva mai relaxant.
Phylis: De ce nu mergem într-o excursie de două zile? Putem avea o zi
pentru cumpărături în Londra și o zi în Bath pentru relaxare.
Zara: Acum este o idee strălucitoare
