Respect, an old word, which tend to lose its meaning nowadays...
You will agree or disagree with me, won't you ?
If the one who reads my essay is an adult, they will agree. If there is a teenager reading this, they will disagree.
Why is that ? Because both categories think they pay respect to people they have to.
Now you will say that respect has to be earned. And you're right. But you also learn about it at home, from your parents education. And if you see it between your parents too.
At school, young people tend to get naughty with their teachers, thinking they are the smartest, that they don't need anyone to teach them. Wrong ! "Respect to be respected !"
Later in life, many things can be solved with respect. Peace can be maintained with respect.
So, young people, pay respect to older people and likewise, because other than thinking and speaking, respect makes us superior to animals !
