Venetia este unul dintre cele mai populate orase de pe glob.Venetia este singurul oraș in care nu exista masini.Politia si ambulanțele intervin pe barci.Casele venețiene sant construite pe piloni de lemn.In oras exista 400 de gondolieri cu toate acestea prima femeie gondolier si-a obtinut permisul in anul 2010.În Venetia este o strada numita Rama Varisco ce are doar 53 cm in lățime considerată cea mai ingusta din lume.In Venetia exista 450 de palate.Orasul are o vechime de 1500 ani.Este interzis să hranesti porumbeii.Prima ediție a carnavalului a avut loc în anul 1162.Republica Venețiană a fost cea mai mare putere navela a Europei timp de mai bine de 800 de ani.Mastile si costumele au fost purtate mai tarziu pentru a socializa.
