I believe the woman was angry at first and I understand why she felt that way. It’s obvious the bike had a sentimental value to her and it most certainly is not pleasant to have such a precious thing being stolen from you. But the act the thief did was truly amazing. She must have been surprised and happy that she got her bike back.
I think the man was furious. I have fallen victim to scams too and i know it is not funny. The father must have worked hard to get that amount of money and I can only imagine how hard it was for him to lose it. I feel sorry for him and I hope he will get his money back somehow.
