3. Dread Desert is a fantasy book. In it, objects have magic powers. But fantasy books have a lot in common with science fiction. Here too, what is not possible in our everyday world becomes possible. What do you think are the most important differences between fantasy and science fiction?  Science fiction story generally extrapolates elements of the modern world and attempts to predict how they could possibly develop. Fantasy, on the other hand, uses supernatural elements that have no link to our contemporary world.
