It is indeed true that you must wait in order to fain what you want. Why? Because you never get anywhere when you hurry. Here are some examples:

1) You would want to have a nice car now, but you don't have enough money. So you have to work harder in order to get a bigger salary. But, that would be really tiring and would bring other problems, such as being tired at all times, not getting enough sleep and so on. The best option to choose is to work as hard as you did before, but try to save more money and eventually you will get it.
