Wallachia, home to Vlad The Imapaler
Today we will talk about Wallachia.
A lot of people know this area due to Vlad Draculea, but little did they know that this city had more than just a legend.
It had human rights, and at that time it we're respected, it had justice, it had peace in general.
Even though Vlad Țepeș was born in Istambul, Turkey, he defended Wallachia from Turkey so well.
He was Voivode of Wallachia three times between 1448 and his death in 1476/77. He is often considered one of the most important rulers in Wallachian history and a national hero of Romania.
Then nothing was stolen, or if it was, He would know and punish the people who stole by impaling them.
There was rumoured that he would watch them die while eating royal food.
How did people know he died?
A lady was once walking past a well and there used to be a golden cup from which Vlad used to drink, and while he was alive no one used to touch that cup. Now it was gone. The old woman started crying, bawling her eyes out, untill someone came asking her what happened. She told them that our Voievod, Vlad Țepeș died.
It was awful news, and the Voievod had a beautiful funeral, and he was burried deep in ground inside a cathedral that still is in Romania, Transylvania.
