How are you?

Did you hear about the floods here in the UK?  We had a horrible experience last Saturday while we were travelling to my cousin's house in York. It was raining heavily when we started our journey and while we were driving through the countryside, the road began to fill with water! Suddenly, our car stopped. Dad called the emergency services, but while we were waiting for help to arrive, the water was rising higher and higher! We climbed onto the roof of our car and soon a helicopter arrived and took us to safety. We were lucky that we didn't get hurt!
