a disagreement about who caused the accident and you had to make a statement

I was walking in park, listening to music then I saw a man driving really fast, looking woried I think. I left the park and I went to coffe street in Los Angeles,i was kinda of nervous because there were some little dogs playing on the road.I wonder where he was going...I was really shocked,the man s car went on a pillar crashing it's windscreen and one of the dog was a little bit hurt. Everyone and passers-by in the traffic were looking at the man ,luckily the people were nice and they didn't swear or fight with the man caused the accident.They also helped the dog,by giving water and walking with him at theveterinary hospital.They also helped the man by consolidating him.I can see on his face,he was not happy about what happened.Then a police car came,the police woman was asking other people what did they saw but none know exactly.I explained all the story to the women and she was writing on a notebook what I said.Then they took me with them at their police station and one of the police officers gave me a paper.I wrote on it everything that I explained to you from the beginning,I was stressed because they were police officers and I wanted to explain it from the "head to toe".When I was about to exit the police woman said thanks.My mom was here ,waiting for me to pick me up, she asked me some questions,and she was really happy for my behavior and happy because I helped the police.That's why I came a little bit late that day to our sleepover..
