5 Read the story. Make a list of fruits and a list of vegetables.
Pierrot misses his friend Pierrette. One morning Pierrot says: "I'll go an
visit Pierrette. And I will bring her something from my garden". He goes
his garden and finds some sweet beets and carrots. Then
he picks some grapes, pears and nuts. He gathers green
peas and red tomatoes. He also finds a big yellow quince.
Pierrot's basket is full now and he walks to Pierrete's house.
Pierrette is very happy to see her friend. They have a fine
picnic. They eat the good things from Pierrot's garden.
They play and sing.
