There are many actions that you can do to protect nature, some people plant tree, or use the bicycle instead driving a car. But evenif people say that they know that they need to protect nature,but they still harm it. The smoke, make fires, build a lot of factories etc. Even you, the person that says that everybody should protect nature, you are owning a leather jacket, or you have a lot of stuff made out of wood. People harm nature, but instead they give you very useful stuff in return.

They give you warm clothes for the winter, that are made of fur, they give you really do anything to help nature, all you can do is become a vegetarian, plant trees, and stuff like that.
