Ulises de la Cruz comes from Piquiucho — a small (4)village in Ecuador, where most people live in simple (3)huts.
When he was young, he didn't have shoes or boots, so he played football (1)barefoot.
When Ulises got money for playing in the 2002 Work Cup finals, he used it to buy a fresh (7) water supply for Piquiucho. He has also set up a medical (2)center /centre there, with doctors and nurses.
