I was watching TV one night when i suddenly heard a knock on the door. I checked the window and saw an old looking man standing in front of my door. I went downstairs, got a baseball bat in case it was someone dangerous and unlocked the door, hesitating. When it completely unlocked, I opened it and looked at the man in front of the door, scared. I realised I didnt know him so i shut the door, then locked it back as fast as I could. Happily, he didn't get into the house because I was quicker than him. With my knees trembling, I went back in my bedroom and looked out the window. What I saw made my blood freeze: the creepy man with his large coat and baggy pants was holding a knife behind him. I got back downstairs to get the phone and I called the police, saying the details with my voice craking from terror. The police arrived in two minutes and took the man. He is still in jail. I thank God everyday that nothing bad happened that nigjt.
