There are various differences in today's modern children's generation and our parents' generation. While in the old times, the lifestyle of our guardians was stricter, we need a teaching on learning to adapt ourselves to interacting with people from different generations. There are three major areas to this: Lifestyle, Education and communication .


Nowadays , we enjoy living a relatively easy lifestyle. Food is in stock, most of us have beds to sleep on and other luxurious things that compared to the older generation would be like finding gold in a field. In the modern times , let's say that you have just graduated college. Feeling good , right? But remember, there is one thing you must now do. Find. Work.
Today, people don't have to immediately go to work, they can think about it while still staying home with your parents while they take care of you. In the old times, this wouldn't even be something to think about. You had to make your mind quickly. Your parents wouldn't accept you in their homes since they have already done their job for the last decades to feed you. Now, it's your turn. Thankfully , those times are long gone , so you don't have to think about it too much.

Another difference is Education. Most of us now tend to have at least a bachelor's degree. That means they cannot work until they have an appropriate education. Like in a painting, there is a contrast , which is that people in the older generation didn't have quite many opportunities to study. In the past , only rich people could have a higher chance on school, and others tended to focus more on working then studying. So , it would make sense for you to have a higher education than your parents.


The last difference is Communication.
An obvious difference between old and new times are the way we communicate . For example, People now days can literally contact their friends anytime , even despite being on the other side of the world . These may or may not be called "Mobile Phones". In fact, Teens that are used to use these tiny technological boxes everyday have earned the title of a "screenager" . On the other hand , your parents and grandparents didn't have this luxury. Maybe one old phone per house , but those things cost. They weren't so functional as the phones nowdays. All you could do to them is maybe contact a friend of yours on the other street.

In conclusion, Lifestyle, Education and Communication point to the differences between your modern generation's differences and your parents' generation.
