In my opinion, media has come to represent a huge part in the modern world. You share posts you're interested in, you run a blog, you search for recipes, you text your friends funny photos... Media has become so important in our lives, that we use it without thinking, and feel really exposed or helpless when for some reason we can't. It's a very easy way to access data, to connect with people far away, to create and post your own content, to learn how to do new things and many, many more.
