The sides of the house are open in order to maintain temperature as low as possible. Because of this, it is safe to assume that the weather is often rainy and at the same time very hot. This is why they had to adapt the shape and structure of the houses accordingly. On the other hand, in the North of Canada houses are actually igloos. So, most of the time, the weather is cold, snowy and windy since the tunnel of the house was built to protect against the wind, the roof can withstand the harsh conditions dictated by low temperatures all year round. In the spring, it is usually colder than the rest of the Romanian cities. It sometimes rains but overall the weather is sunny and a bit windy. Summers are quite hot and temperatures rise to an alarming level. But being near the mountains, it is usually more bearable than other places in Romania. Autumns are nice even if it is cold, cloudy and rainy most of the time but there are also sunny and warm days. In the winter, it snows a lot and temperatures drop to below 0° Celsius so I am used to the cold weather and try to make the most out of it.
