That day was his birthday. He was excited to the idea to receive gifts from his family and friends, as well as eating all the junk food and sweets he wanted.
It was the day he would be finally be on a step above the others for once...
He decided to relax and try to sleep so that he could appear in a decent way and not suddenly fall asleep.
It already happened once or twice and he didn't want to give a bad impression.
So, he took a glass of hot milk to help himself to sleep. And it worked! He fell asleep like a baby.
