a)(x  -  \frac{1}{2} ) {}^{2}  - (  \frac{1}{2} ) {}^{2}  = (x -  \frac{1}{2}  -   \frac{1}{2} ) \times (x -  \frac{1}{2}  +  \frac{1}{2} ) = (x - 1) \times x =  > x \times (x - 1)

b)(2x +  \frac{1}{3} ) {}^{2}  - ( \frac{1}{3} ) {}^{2}  = (2x +  \frac{1}{3}   -  \frac{1}{3} ) \times (2x +  \frac{1}{3}  +  \frac{1}{3} ) = 2x \times (2x +  \frac{2}{3} ) = 2x \times  \frac{1}{3}  \times (6x + 2) = 2x \times  \frac{1}{3}  \times 2(3x + 1) = 2 \times 2 \times  \frac{1}{3} x \times (3x + 1) =  \frac{4}{3} x \times (3x + 1).
