Formare "Present Tense Simple":

         Aff: S + V1  sau S + V1 -s, -es ( pentru persoana a III-a singular )
       Neg: S + Do / Does + Not + V1
        Intr: Do / Does + S + V1 ?
Neg. Intr: Do / Does + Not + S1?

OBS! Persoana a III-a singular ( He, She, It ) : Verbele care se termina in "-sh", "-ch", "-x", "-o", "-zz", "-ss" primesc "-es". Restul primesc doar "-s". Verbele "to go" si "to do" primesc, de asemenea, "-es". Verbele aux. "to have" si "to be" au conjugare neregulata: Have => has , Be => is


( Prescurtat: 
Do + not = > Don't
Does + not = > Doesn't )

Exemple: 

1.     Aff:  Tanya speaks German very well.
     Neg.:  Tanya doesn't speak German wery well.
      Intr.:  Does Tanya speak German very well?
Neg.Intr.: Doesn't Tanya speak German wery well?

2.      Aff:   Julie drinks tea very often.
      Neg.:  Julie doesn't drink tea very often
       Intr.:  Does Julie drink tea very often?
Neg.Intr.:  Doesn't Julie drink tea very often?

3.       Aff:   I usually walk to school.
        Neg:  I don't usually walk to school.
        Intr.:  Do I usually walk to school?
Neg. Intr.:  Don't I usually walk to school?

4.       Aff: You read a book every month.
        Neg: You don't read a book every month.
        Intr.:  Do you read a book every month?
Neg. Intr.: Don't you read a book every month?

5.       Aff: We have breakfast at 7.30 every morning.
        Neg: We don't have breakfast at 7.30 every morning.
        Intr.: Do we have breakfast at 7.30 every morning?
Neg. Intr.: Don't we have breakfast at 7.30 every morning?
