Last Sunday we went on a picnic in the country . My mother drove the car . My father slept all the way there  because he was tired . When we arrived we ran straight to  the river . We swam for a long time and then we cat our lunch . After lunch my father an I played rughy . We left at six o ' clock and went home . We all had a lovely time .

Where did you go on holiday last summer ?
I went to France to visit my cousin there . 
How long did you stay ?
I stayed for two months and I had a wonderful time . 
Where did you spend your holiday ?
We didn't go anywhere . My mother was in a hospital , so we stayed at home . 
That's too bad !
Well , she came home after three weeks  , and we were happy to see her .

Yesterday my family and I visited my grandparents . My grand mother took on the phone to her friend and my mother watched TV . My sister Sue and Pam listened to music and they danced . My brother and I played with the cat . We had a nice time there .
