Present Simple- Past Simple
 write- wrote
Present continuous- Past continuous
am writing - was writing
Past Simple- Past perfect
wrote - had wrote
 Present perfect - Past perfect
have written - had written
 Past perfect -  Past perfect
had written - had written
 Present perfect continuous - Past perfect continuous
 have been writing - had been writing
 Past continuous -  Past perfect continuous
 were writing - had been writing
 Future - Conditional present
 will write  -  would write
Future continuous -  Conditional continuous
will be writing - would be writing

Si adverbele sau pronumele se schimba :
 this-that
these-those
today-that day
tommorrow-the next day etc

Exercice I

1 Mr. Jones said that he had a (good)brilliant time.
2 Grandmother added that the waiters had been very rude.
