Last year on Christmas, I decided to go around the neighbourhood along with my friend, to carol (a colinda).
It was a very cold and windy night,however the thought of singing and dancing succeded in making us forget about the low temperature. While we were walking under the streetlights (luminile de pe strada) we noticed something odd. Near the entrance of a flat(un bloc),there was a small box.
Being the curious children that we were( e o expresie nu o greseala gramaticala), we went and looked inside. We couldn't believe what we saw. In the box there were five little abandoned baby kittens that were shivering along with a note that read "for free". We took the box and ran home. How could someone be so cruel on such a jolly day?
In the end,our parents decided to gift the poor kittens to some of our neighbours.
We were so lucky to find them while they were still alive. Both me and my friend felt relieved. It was,truly, a Christmas Miracle.
