In order to improve I focus on The Four Essential Skills :
- Reading
- I read articles / books / reviews / poems in English regularly.
- While reading , I underline the main points of the text and words / phraseological expressions I want to learn and use
- Listening
- Listen regularly to conversations in English on different topics
- Watch movies and listen to music in English
- Listen to podcasts
- Speaking
- Speak with myself in English ( might sound weird but it works ! )
- Go to places where are a lot of native English speakers and socialise with them
- Speak with my friends in English
- Writing
- Socialise with native English people on the internet through forums
- Write reviews of products that I purchased
- Write different types of compositions : essays, emails , articles and learn their structure
⇒ Who in your class speaks English the best? Why?
My best-friend speaks English the best due to the fact that she regularly watches documentaries in English, reads books in English , has friends with whom she communicates in English.
⇒Would you like to become an English teacher? Why or why not?
From my perspective, becoming an English teacher is a great choice as many people are interested in learning English due to its popularity and widespread use . Also , there are a lot of materials that can make teaching English more fun and efficient.
