The Tehuelche helped the early settlers by teaching them how to hunt.

The settlers were called "the bread and butter people" because they exchanged simple food for furs and skins.

Welsh wasn't used in the Patagonian schools because of spanish being introduced as a first language.

Gwilym Roberts has gone to Patagonia because he volunteered to be a Welsh teacher.

In Patagonia you might hear folk songs.

Sian Emlyn thinks that tango is harder to learn, but Welsh folk dancing is fun.

If you arrived in Patagonia on the 28th of July you would eat cake and drink tea and of course, bread and butter.
