Apply: when a light bulb burns out in a string of lights, all of the lights go out. How could you redesign the lights to solve this problem?

If a light burns out and switches off all the other lights it means they are connected in series. We can solve this problem by connecting them in parralel. In this way, whatever bulb will burn out it will not affect in any way the other bulbs.
