Yes. In my country we have a very big population of brown bears. Those animals live in mountain areas and mountain forests. They often visit small and spread-out villages but they are friendly. Oftenly at night they will search back yards of people and search for any rest of food that is thrown away by people. During the winter, they consume and gather food to hibernate.
