Argue for or agaist the following statement: Young people should be encouraged to work or travel for a year between graduating from high school ard starting university studies. Use relevant arguments and examples to support your ideas. (10-15 randuri)

I think that young people shouldn't be encouraged to work or travel for any period of time between graduating from high school and starting university studies. One reason that I am against is that this 'trip' or work experience it might disturb their learning motivation. If these people are going to work, work might make them think about money and they might want to get more independent at an early stage in life. So, they won't want to go university anymore. 
It is more than certain that when we travel or even when old people travel , we all discover new things, some of them we like, some of them we don't. Well, for sure it'll be the same for this young people. If they are going to travel, even for a week, they might get distracted by other things, either independency ,as in the work experience , either worse things which might make them give up learning.
University is very important, it is true, the true prizes for it , do come later but they are way bigger than any others.
