Dear Alexandra,
I've been fighting in the war for over 2 years now. Nights have been relentless, no day goes by without me thinking of you. They've sent all my colleagues in another division but I've managed on my own. Without you days feel like an eternity. I've been careful of my actions, but I've got to do what a man's got to do. I hope the war will cease in the next hopeful days. It's been strangely quiet outside, those vermins are keeping their mouth shuts and will probably surprise attack us. Supplies are running low and soon to end. Hunger will arise quickly and we'll be suffering in the near future. I'll write you when this overestimated war will finish.
