Living in a palace is nice. You have many rooms, well furnished and lit, you have a lovely view. The disadvantage is the high cost of palace maintenance, heating, lighting, security.

Living in a houseboat is also nice. You have a wonderful view, you can fish and the maintenance costs are lower than those needed for a palace, but it also has disadvantages, it is smaller and it has fewer rooms.
