Dear Sir, Madam,

I would like to report my purse stolen. It happened yesterday morning while I was at Hampden Market. I cannot tell exactly when it happened. I bought some fruit and got a  cash receipt with a time stamp of 11:02. I walked along some other lanes of the market and at 11:45, when I wanted to pay for an article I bought, I noticed that the closure of my handbag had been opened and my purse had disappeared. The time of the theft therefore must have been between eleven and a quarter to twelve.
