The best person you can be is yourself. You may want to inspire those around you, to stand out from the crowd, to avoid failure, but, above all, you must always be true to yourself. We must have courage, we must stand up for what we believe is right, even if it means being rejected by others in the process. There is nothing wrong with wanting to be liked by others or wanting to please others, but when that means that you have to betray yourself, your character, your beliefs and morals, you must really stop and think if it's worth it. If those who you are trying to please are really worth it. If you try to be someone who you're not, you are in danger of forgetting who you really are.
