The key to a happy marriage is, indeed, love. Love has sometimes been described as being a powerful force that binds two or more people together, and I strongly believe that. Love, trust, understanding and care are all connected, the last three resulting from the first one. These 4 "elements" make a happy marriage, a happy family.
If you really do love someone, then you care about them and want to protect them from every bad thing that may hurt your beloved person. This sense of feeling protected, and also wanting to protect makes the relationship stronger.
