Mum: Yes, i was quite stocky when i was a child.

Clare: And you had long hair! How old was you in this photo?

Mum: About 12, i think.

Clare: You was very tall.

Mum: No, i wasn't. I was quite short until i was about 16.

Clare: But you had lovely hair.

Mum: Yes, i had straight, blonde hair then.

Clare: Wasn't were you in this photo?

Mum: I was on holiday in Devon.

We had a lovely big house there for the summer. It was six bedrooms.
