Our country evolves every day, even as we speak, even if it's just a tree added in the park or a highway opened for use. However, some of the changes that happen are not necessarily needed or wanted.
When the first road was created in Romania, we can all assume it wasn't the best and it's purpose was to transport certain items from one point to another. Today, if you look out the window, you'll probably see at least 3 different roads filled with cars, lorries, trucks etc. Due to the huge amount of cars being sold daily, it becomes very important for more roads to be built, making more people buy cars until the point when it becomes a never ending circuit. Traffic becomes more heavy, leading to huge amounts of pollution. On the bright side of things, if we have more roads it will be easier for people to get from one city to another in shorter times which in some situations, is very helpful.
Every time we built more roads, more shopping centers are, more cinemas and restaurants, a green space is destroyed. Considering the pollution in Romania, green spaces are needed due to the oxygen they give us. If they are replaced with something not useful to people, we will lack in oxygen and pollution levels will rise. On the other hand, the big cities of Romania have big, beautiful parks which are very populated by people especially during the summer. They are a great source of entertainment for some while others choose to use them for sports or morning runs.
Tourism in Romania isn't seen every day, especially since we have very few monuments in the capital city and museums. Most people come in Romania on business trips. Unlike some other countries, Romania's economy based on tourism is very low. According to certain studies, the most popular cities visited by strangers are Sibiu, Sighisoara, Constanta, Bucharest and others. In 2009, the Romanian seaside was visited by 1.3 million tourists, maximum 40 000 of them being people from other countries. However, numbers have improved in the past years, which would mean that more tourists are coming to visit our country.
As you may have seen if you've visited the seaside in Romania, you probably have noticed that beaches aren't clean. Most people throw their cigarettes in the sand, wrapping from certain items or chewing gum. You can tell it's not a pleasant image. In my opinion, in order to attract more tourists at the Romanian seaside, the beaches should be cleaned and people should have to pay fines if they throw their trash in the sand or water.
Due to global warming, the climate has been very different in the past few years. It has barely snowed during the winter and temperatures have been extremely high during the summer, some of them being over 40 degrees celsius. This is because of pollution. However, the water in the Black Sea is not as salty as others and the beaches are some of the few with sand on them and not pebbles.
All in all, evolution in Romania happens every day, some good, some bad. In my opinion, if another road or shopping center will be built, after its' construction is complete, a green space should be created somewhere in the area.
Sper ca te ajuta :))
