Wild animals are untamed animals, such as: the lion, the wolf, the bear who live separated from humans because of their ferocity.
Those animals, as mentioned before, are very dangerous and do not cope very well with people, often considering them prey. Altough those at the zoo are quite trained by dressors, they don't lose their wild instincts.
We should always be extremely cautious when we come in contact with them; we must act peaceful and don't overreact or scream.
