For the simple reason that you will get older, you will go through the times when your existence depends on parents, relatives, friends and you will depend on the choices you have made (alone or together with those mentioned) and you will see that these choices are missing. it's only 10-20 years and you can't do much. There comes a time when, for example, you want to emigrate and you will see that in countries where the standard of living is ok you are looking for: engineers, IT-doctors, doctors, nurses, dentists, mechanics, architects, workers, pilots, trainers, navigators, teachers. You already understood the idea.
The one who has learned to weld, repair a car, operate, heal, build will know how to do this for 10-20 years and will always have a job in hand. Good, bad, as it is, but you will never die of hunger and nowhere. Look at your friends and relatives who went "out" and you will see that you give me justice. I, at least, do not know examples of people who have left for England or Spain or the U.S. to work as an editor, spokesperson, marketing person or others. This is the reality and so it will be over many years.
