my life is as average as it could get. the one thing that could be considered special is my friendship with Alexander Parker. he's always been a fascinating boy. he enjoys new information, annoying his parents and teachers with as many questions he could think of. he was rarely satisfied with the answers though, most of them being "that's just the way it is" or "ask someone else". reading is his favorite hobby. however, this had one consequence: he got bored with life. nothing exciting like in his beloved fiction books ever happened. one night, we were playing video games when he asked, out of the blue, "aren't you tired of this never ending routine?"
i looked at him funny, "what do you mean"
"you know what i mean. what are we really doing? we are wasting this precious time on earth. school, college, work, retirement, death. i need something to spice it up, a challenge" he replied, not looking at me. "what are you trying to say, Alex?" "i dare you to try to ruin my life" "like what?" i laughed, "destroying your artwork, spilling water on the floor?"
"thats ridiculous. those are just small inconveniences."
"i'm in. but you have to try to ruin my life as well"
and, boy, i couldn't have made a bigger mistake
