My hometown is Ploiesti, a city situated in the South Eastern part of Romania. It is a quite big city having more than 200 thousands inhabitants. Ploiesti is a green city, with beautiful nature and nice weather. Unfortunately the factories are having a bad effect over the city, the pollution rate being too much high.
Ploiesti is a historical city. It has old traditions and many museums presenting it. It is not a crowded city, so it makes it a good destination for holidays. Ploiesti is a good place for relaxing and enjoying the nature. It has big green parks, a Zoo with a variety of animals and many shopping places.
The buildings of Ploiesti are little bit old and gray. These make it a little sad city. But I love my hometown and I am happy to live here.
