Pui verbul la diateza pasiva, la acelasi mod si timp la care e in diateza activa. Subiectul devine complement de agent, iar complementul direct devine subiect.

Verbul la diateza pasiva e compus din: to be la timpul la care avem nevoie + participiul trecut al verbului de conjugat

Exemplu:
Diateza Activa: The children pick flowers
Diateza Pasiva: The flowers are picked by the children.

D.A. My mother has prepared the lunch
D.P.  The lunch was prepared by my mother

D.A. Dad will buy the notebooks.
D.P.  The notebooks will be bought by dad.
