Body language is when you express yourself with different hand motions, leg shaking. But there is also when you express your affection by hugs, head pets etc.

There are other ways to communicate like some people insult their friends because that is their way to show affect. There are also people who punch or push their friends as a sign of affection.

Or other people show their affection with small presents, handmade objects and flowers and others. There is also people who show affection through quality time, basically spending time with their friends.
