Bran Castle

Bran Castle is a castle in Bran, 25 kilometres southwest of Brașov. It is a national monument and landmark in Transylvania. The fortress is on the Transylvanian side of the historical border with Wallachia, on road DN73. Why is Bran Castle famous?

The Bran castle was built in the 14th century, a stronghold to protect the villagers and landowners of the plains beyond the Bucegi Mountains, although it is most famous for being the location of the famous vampire, Dracula. It is the perfect setting for a vampire-lord.

Seventy-nine-year-old Dominic Habsburg, spent his childhood at Bran Castle in Brașov, Romania, where his grandparents Queen Marie and King Ferdinand I lived. He inherited the 14th-century castle in 2006.

Attention all Transylvanian Counts with a taste for human blood: Bran Castle, a 790-year-old castle that is said to be the one on which Bram Stoker based Count Dracula's home (although that is contended by scholars) is on the market, and the price tag is only £47 million (around $66 million).

Archduke Dominic of Austria is the owner of the castle.

Bran Castle was built between 1377 and 1388 atop a strategic site overlooking a heavily trafficked mountain pass between Transylvania and Wallachia, the land over which Vlad the Impaler ruled in the 15th century.

The purpose of this gift was to establish the Teutons in the area and to defend the Southeastern border of Transylvania from the Cumans and the Pechenegs. The Teutons erected a fortress in Bran (a Slavonic name meaning “gate”), before they were driven away from the area in 1226.

The Bran Castle is wonderful and I think that everyone needs to see this castle once in his live.

༄Hi, hello!!༄

Mexico City is one of the most important cultural and financial centers in the world. It is located in the Valley of Mexico (Valle de México), a large valley in the high plateaus in the center of Mexico, at an altitude of 2,240 meters (7,350 ft). The city has 16 dubdivison known as boroughs or demarcaciones territoriales. The city’s historic centre, known as Zócalo, is a UNESCO world heritage site, and the neighborhoods surrounding the city centre have distinct character and architecture in Mexico City.

A bit about the city. Mexico City is the massive, high-altitude capital of Mexico. It’s known for its bustling markets, delicious street food, Aztec ruins, museums, and cathedrals. My partner and I spent 5 days there celebrating the Day of Dead, an annual Mexican holiday, which made our visit especially exciting.
