Dear Sarah,
    How are you? I've got a Saturday job working in a restaurant. I have to work quite late - until ten at night. But I don't mind because I ¹don't have to get up early. I only ²have to be there by two in the afternoon. I ³have to wear a uniform but it's OK. It's a black T-shirt that says 'The Hungry Horse'. I'm called a 'kitchen helper' so that means I ⁴have to help in the kitchen. I'm not a cook so I ⁵don't have to do any serious cooking.


When I arrive, I usually ⁶have to wash the vegetables and cut them up. Then I ⁷have to make the salads. I think I make quite good salads now. I also ⁸don't have to do the washing-up and clean the floor. But ⁹have to serve the food or clear the tables. That's the waiters' job. One problem is my school work. I can't do any of it on Saturday because of this job. So I ¹⁰have to do it all on Sunday.
