He asked me where I worked before. I told him that I was a receptionist at a big hotel in the city. Then he wanted to know if I liked the job there. I explained that it was OK, but it hadn't always been pleasant when guests complained to the receptionist. I also told him that I wrote an application for the position in his company. He asked me what I expected from the job as an event manager and I told him that I always wanted to work with the media and that I'm good at organising events and meeting. Finally he told me that it wasn't an average nine to five job and that I would have to work long hours, maybe at weekends too.
