I agree with this qoute, because is correct, and there are many, many examples that I can choose from. First, let's say that you promise your parents that you will achieve a good grade in a test, but you don't learn for it and you achieved a bad grade. What you had to do was to learn for that test  not just to say you will learn. That's why actions are more important than words, promises. The same thing happens with politicians (not all of them) they promise something that they will never do. And other examples. In a nutshell, it matters what you actually do, not to promise something you promise will do without really doing it.
