Europe Day is an event that

celebrates linguistic diversity, multilingualism / multilingualism, lifelong language learning. The European Day of Languages aims to draw the public's attention to the importance of language learning and to make them aware of the existence and value of all languages spoken in Europe, encouraging their learning. The event began in 2001, the year in which was declared by the Council of Europe Year European Union of Spoken Languages. Since then, în every year, on September 26, in each of the 45 member states of the Council of Europe, celebrates the Day of Spoken Languages. [2]
