Winter is one of the four seasons. 
It is the coldest of them all, when days are short and nights are long. 
However, it is one of my favorite seasons, because I like snow. 
When it snows, everything is white and pure. Trees seem like made out of sugar and the frozen lake is like a mirror. 
It is very relaxing to take a walk in the park in a quiet afternoon when snowflakes are falling on you.
There are some things you can make only during winter. Building a snowman, for instance. Or skiing or riding a sleigh.
And there is of course, Christmas. Santa Claus brings presents and the carolers sing merry songs.
Shortly after there is the New Year's Eve when everybody is having fun and rejoice.
