In 1461 Vlad founds Comana Monastery - a wooden church , a bell tower and some cells - at that time , on an island in the middle of the swamp. Radu Serban nobleman in 1588 , reconstructs one nine monastery style city on the ruins built by Vlad Tepes . Between 1699-1701 the entire monastery restoration occurs by Serban Cantacuzino great magistrate .
