In the past, there weren't so many cars. Also, there weren't busses, tramways or taxis. People used to travel on their own feet or ride a bycicle.
In the present, people go anywhere they want by car, by bus, by taxi and many others. There are a few people that go to work on feet or ride a bycicle. I 6
think there is so much traffic that we don't have enough space to ride a bycicle.
In conclusion, transport in the past and transport nowadays are very different.
