Yes, I agree. If you know more languages is an opportunity in any profession and an improvement in your life.
As a salesperson it is very important to know several languages. More languages mean you can communicate with a larger mass of people. And the more customers, the higher the number of sales and profits.

In my opinion,I agree that speaking more than one language is a useful skill for people who work in a store because if a customer is a foreigner(tourist) and know to speak just english,in this situation will be very useful for the employee to know more than his/her native language and they will both be able to comunicate with each other.Also,if the customer will want more informations about a product he will just ask the employee and it would be easier for the customer to decide if he will want to buy the product or not.In conclusion,I totally agree that speaking more than one language is a useful skill for the people that work at that shop and will help customers(tourists usually) much better.
